Hi, I'm Emma! I'm from Glasgow, and recently returned from living a few years abroad - and so seeing my own city with fresh eyes. I like to explore, discover new things, and delight in finding hidden corners of cities. I enjoy art, music and films, I like to walk a lot, and eat and drink!
I hope I can help you find out more about my city and things to do in it, on and off the beaten track.
Je parle francais aussi si vous avez envie de discuter en francais.
Glasgow is a diverse, energetic city that embodies Scottish culture but is also something a little out of the ordinary. It has a huge range of architectural styles and is embedded in history, but is also alive with contemporary art, music and museums.
Glasgow is a friendly city! It is full of places to eat and drink and engage with locals. RoughGuide readers voted Glasgow the World's Friendliest City in 2016.
It is also a city which is easy to navigate and explore, either on public transport or by foot. Walking around Glasgow, you move quickly through different atmospheres and styles - and there are lots of hidden gems in side streets, hidden bars, galleries, second hand-shops, tea-shops, bars and restaurants.
