I've been living in Dublin for 13 years... and have been working in hospitality for most of it. I love this city and am happy to give advice on where to eat and drink (my speciality), lesser known spots to visit, great day trips from Dublin (easy to do!) and fun for a rainy day... there's so much to see and do besides the Guinness brewery and Book of Kells... let me fill you in :)
The people! Dubs are a friendly and outgoing bunch and are always up for a laugh...
The food: Dublin has a great foodie scene from trendy restaurants, cosy cafes, banging food trucks, organic produce, and great ethnic choices... something for everyone
The pubs: a pint of Guinness while listening to traditional music or dancing till the sun rises after too many shots of tequila. And everything inbetween
The history: from a Viking settlement to a bustling metropolis... it's easy to learn a about Dublins 1000+ years on the map
The scenery: when the sun is out or even when it's not... Ireland's beautiful landscape is a stone's throw from Dublins busy streets
