My favorite things about my cities

It is very clean, the people are friendly, and having the great outdoors in your back yard is priceless. SLC has a surprisingly active music (hip hop, indie, rock/metal, EDM and reggae) scene and a deeply rooted "burner" network of artisan's, pyro's, flow artist's, builder's and jester's. It is also one of the largest banking capitols' in the US making our economy stable enough for some superb resteraunts, museums and architecture. Bored of the city yet? Check out Park City via Guardsman Pass (closed winters) through Cottonwood Canyon. The sights are breathtaking! For a family friendly hike try Lisa Falls, have fogs? Go to Desolation Lake. Have a day to kill, check out timponogos or Fifth water hot springs. Need a challange? Summit Olympus and be back in time for sushi at the Sushi Groove which also happens to serve the best Saki in the county. SLC has a theatre for every brow and class known to man, from the Tabernacle to the Tavernacle. We also have the LDS, i am personally non-religious but would suggest the Downtown Temple and Memory Grove to any sight seer. The LDS also have the largest and most extensive public genealogy records to date. Just be sure to buy all your liquor and wine at the liquor store during normal business hours. We even have a wine store (all closed Sunday). Regardless of what you are looking for, we will find something for you to remember and hopefully love about Salt Lake City.
